Freezing Meat Without Freezer Burn - Course 202

Meat Wrapping, Part 1

Never Again Throw Out Expensive Meats from Freezer Burn

The following method is called a "roll wrap." After you've wrapped two or three packages, you'll be an expert.

As a historical note, there was also a "drug store wrap" that some locker plants used.  The drug store wrap made a neater looking package, but it took a bit longer and wasn't practical except in wrapping hamburger, or somewhat square and rectangular cuts of meat.

Take off any and all store wrappings.
